Follow Your Bliss to Enlightenment

I help people cultivate a deeper connection to their bodies through movement, a deeper connection to their spirit though relaxation and to harness the tool that is their mind.

Hi!

Welcome to my website! I do a lot of stuff - I am a neurodivergent Yoga Teacher, Group Fitness Instructor, Reiki Practitioner and Access Bars Facilitator . This site should be relatively easy to navigate, but if you have any pressing questions - please email me at leaningin.yoga@gmail.com

  • I named my Yoga business Leaning In because I spent so much of my life trying to escape. I was trying to escape my body, my inherited reality, and especially my mind.

The thousands of years old discipline of Yoga saved me from my destructive coping mechanisms and like any one who finds something that works for them, I desired to share it. I enrolled in my first teacher training in 2012 and leaned into discomfort.

Since then, I am pleased to announce that I honed a practice that yields similar results - yet the method is to lean into comfort. What if it didn't need to be hard? What if it could be easy?

  • Could you sum up the essence of your life in one word? Is there a common theme that runs through everything you do? For me that theme is movement.

You may have guessed this, if you know me as a Yoga teacher or group fitness instructor. Movement also encompasses the joy of dance, travel, new experiences and constantly rearranging my physical space.

Esoterically the movement can be between the third dimensional body, the fourth dimensional mind and the fifth dimensional consciousness; something that I offer in my Yoga classes, retreats and Restorative Healing Services.

  • As a lifetime learner, this section could be expansive but I'll summarise. The foundation on which most of my services are built includes a bachelor of psychology, a bachelor of creative writing, almost 1000 hours of Yoga teacher trainings and a certificate iii in Fitness.

What would it take for you to reunite with joy?
